Think and Grow Rich

This book was written in 1937 and has sold over 100 million copies. It ranks near the top of many "must-read" book lists.

Apply These Success Principles to Your Life

This book has one of the best book titles ever.

Everyone thinks.

If you are a reader, then you want to grow.

And who doesn't want to be rich?

But what is rich?  I struggled with this question and the book itself, until I heard Napoleon Hill talk about the 12 Great Riches:

0 1 2
  • Positive Mental Attitude
  • Phyisical Health
  • Relationships
  • Freedom from Fear
  • Hope
  • Faith
  • Generosity
  • Desire
  • Open Mind
  • Self Discipline
  • Understanding People
  • Money

The book is daunting.  It's 300 pages. The language and context is from the 1930's.

Hill spent twenty years with this material before writing the book, and became very passionate about it.  He offers a different way of thinking.  At best, our mind needs to be conditioned to hear this way.  At worst, our mind rejects the concepts as foreign - like our immune system attacking a virus.

However...if you listen...and if you hear...and if you have someone walk you through it...you will find these riches in your life.  I know that from my own experience and others that have walked through the book with me.
